Therefore this project will resume at a later date and not earlier than the fall.
Based on this information, the permits that have been issued are not valid. Please do not use them in the Beach lots as citations will be issued.

NEW HELICOPTER NOISE COMPLAINT SYSTEM MADE OPERATIONAL ON APRIL 1, 2015
REPORT ANY HELICOPTER NOISE YOU EXPERIENCE
Residents of Los Angeles County
You can ONLY stop Helicopter noise if you report it
It's easy to do!
*** 3 DIFFERENT WAYS YOU CAN REPORT HELICOPTER NOISE ***
1. Call (424) 348-HELI
2. Use the website reporting format at http://heli-noise-la.com
3. Track & Report past helicopter noise at http://heli-noise-la.com/webtrak
This is a unique opportunity to have your voices heard. Report low-flying, hovering or noisy helicopters by calling or using the website. Remind your neighbors that we ALL need to be a part of the solution.
This Automated Complaint System is funded from April 2015 to March 2016.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) developed this Helicopter Noise Complaint System, made possible by the significant efforts of Congressman Schiff, Senator Feinstein, Senator Boxer and other Congressional Members, in association with helicopter pilot groups and the Los Angeles Area Helicopter Noise Coalition (LAAHNC).
These groups have been working together for more than two years to diminish the impact of helicopter noise on residents of Los Angeles County.

These groups have been working together for more than two years to diminish the impact of helicopter noise on residents of Los Angeles County.
The FAA has funded this complaint system for one year in order to gather data on the extent of the helicopter noise concerns in Los Angeles County. This is an extremely important time for all residents in LA County to voice their concerns about the disruptive, low flying helicopters that play havoc with our quality of life, not to mention our property values. Residents are urged to report their concerns via phone or by using the website. We understand that the website still has a few kinks that are being worked out so for the next week or so we would advise residents to use the phone number to issue a complaint.
This information is being distributed to multiple Neighborhood Associations. We’ve often heard helicopter pilots remark that only a few residents complain about helicopter noise so now each of us needs to make their voice heard.
One more update...When the Long Beach Routes Working Group met last month, they requested that the FAA complete a Safety Analysis which the FAA requires before helicopter pilots will change routes or fly at higher altitudes. Regarding the Redondo Avenue route, the group requested the following:
"Helicopter pilots and operators should vary their Long Beach departures and arrival routes by using Redondo Avenue for inbound traffic and an existing helicopter route, (either Wardlow Road to the Long Beach Freeway, Cherry Avenue or Lakewood Boulevard) for outbound traffic which will allow pilots to fly directly over the center line of Redondo Avenue on a "one way only" route. When utilizing the Redondo Avenue route, pilots and operators should follow Redondo Avenue to the coast and only commence to turn east or west when at least 300 feet offshore (may be changed to one quarter mile) thus ensuring that pilots do not "cut the corner" over residential neighborhoods and schools. This applies to inbound traffic on Redondo Avenue and any outbound traffic that does not utilize the alternative routes noted above. In order to increase safety and mitigate the impact of helicopter noise on learning, all helicopter pilots should avoid flying directly over Horace Mann Elementary School, Fremont Elementary School, Rogers Middle School and Lowell Elementary School unless public safety issues require flying over the schools."
