- How long have you lived In Long Beach?
I have lived in the Long Beach area my whole life, except for when I was away at college. I have lived in the 3rd district for the past 6 year. - What job or past role will most help you be an effective councilmember?
Chairman of the Redistricting Committee for the Community College districts was a great experience in learning how to listen to constituents, understand how boundaries separate or bring together communities, and realize the enormous impact of a decision on a large community. In addition, my current job given me considerable experience working with local, state, and federal governments. I know how to navigate the necessary steps to get things done. I will not have a learning curve and will be able to ‘hit the ground running’ day one in office to best represent my constituents. - Describe the key characteristics/elements that you feel unify this city across its 9 districts and disparate geography.
Pride in our diversity and inclusion of many different cultures, backgrounds, and lifestyles that make this city a welcoming place, and is reflective in our diverse neighborhoods, and racially diverse food scene. - Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Definitely an extrovert. - Which (living) national leader in any arena — politics, arts, culture, business, etc. — do you admire and why?
I admire Elon Musk as a national leader of technology for his courage to drive innovations in the auto industry and space exploration. - What is your favorite L.B. hangout with friends and/or family?
Summer concerts at Marine Stadium Park. - List the top three quality-of-life issues you see Belmont Shore residents dealing with right now.

We have 2 miles of beautiful shoreline in the 3rd district and the 2nd largest park in the city.
